The cultivation of human values alone is education.
Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.
King martin Luther says, “The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character that is the goal of a true education”. This is what we aim at St. Joseph’s Convent Senior Secondary School, Kotma. We don’t prepare the students for another useless job, but for a life well lived. “Educating the child without educating the heart is no education at all”. Aristotle
Our students are well aware, “if you are not willing to learn no one can help you. If you are determined to learn no one can stop you”. The students have determined determination to learn with dedication and convection.
Our parents know, “A child educated only at school is an uneducated child”. Parents are generous to giving themselves to the children by spending time, money, energy, showing interest on children and follow them up in their studies and integral growth.
The strength of the school depends upon the degree of commitment of the teachers. This is what our school is blessed with. The committed teachers enjoy working with the students and have a strong desire to develop students’ full potential. Recognize and accept the worth of each individual. After all, what rewards does the committed teacher receive? Undoubtedly, the greatest reward is intangible – a smile and respect from a student whom he/she has helped and the joy of seeing the growth and well being of the student. An expression of gratitude from the parents. Knowledge of the successes of former students.
With gratitude in my heart, I extend my best wishes to staff (teaching and non-teaching), students and parents. May all we work together for the development of our dear India.
